We understand our clients' needs and expectations regarding taxes. They tell us they expect:

  • to pay the minimum amount necessary
  • to know their liability soon enough to plan for the payment
  • to be informed about changes that will affect them, and
  • make the process of compliance as painless as possible including
    • gathering the date
    • completion of the return in a timely manner
    • ease of communication

We will meet with you to discuss your situation and needs to determine how to lower your tax liability. We also teach our clients what records and receipts to keep, for how long and what information will be necessary for your tax preparation meeting. Please visit our tax worksheets section for helpful tools and worksheets to assist you with gathering the right information for your tax return preparation and suggestions on how to reduce your tax liability.

Fee Schedule Pricing

All return preparation fees are billed based on our firm’s annual fee schedule. We provide up–front pricing for tax returns at the initial meeting.

Filing in Any State

We are able to file tax returns for any state in the United States. Electronic filing is included for all states to speed up processing time and confirm that your returns are accepted.

Quick Turn–Around Time

With standard processing, once we receive all of the information for your returns, it usually takes about 14 days for completion.

Express Processing Available

For those people with special needs who need their return preparation completed within 3–5 days, we offer express processing services.

Electronic Filing

What is better than getting a tax refund from the IRS? Getting a FAST tax refund from the IRS. With e–file, you could get your refund in half the usual time. Choose direct deposit and get your refund even faster (usually within 8–15 days). And you get quick proof from the IRS that your return has been accepted. IRS e-file is secure and accurate. If you expect to owe taxes, you may ask, "why should I e–file my return?" You can file at any time and pay later. You can delay your tax payment until April 15th and receive confirmation that your return has been accepted by the IRS – the best of both worlds! You may mail a check along with a payment coupon that we will provide any time until April 15th. All return preparation fees include electronic filing. We have used electronic filing for eight years and feel it is our duty to help make our government more efficient.

Flexible Payment Options

The standard option of mailing your check with your return is not the only way to make your payment to the IRS anymore. You may choose to pay your taxes electronically on a date you choose. You can authorize a direct transfer from your checking or savings account as a part of your return. Don't worry, a third party to the IRS will use your direct transfer authorization ONLY for this one payment to deduct the amount you designated at the time you filed your return. They cannot perform any other transactions without your permission. You are also permitted to make federal income tax payments by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX or Discover). Although the IRS does not charge a fee for credit card payments, users will pay a convenience fee to the credit card processor, based on the amount charged. The fees range from 3–4% on most transactions. For more details on credit card payments, please see www.officialpayments.com.

Estimated Tax Calculation

Many of our clients are required to make quarterly estimated taxes to the IRS and state taxing authorities. We offer quarterly tax calculation services that will tell you how much you must pay each quarter to avoid penalties and interest and how much you can expect to owe when your taxes are due in April. Ask about how you can sign up for our quarterly calculation service at your annual preparation meeting.

Tax Planning

Do you want to plan for any balances due or plan to avoid them? We are available to meet with our clients throughout the year to determine what they can do to reduce tax liabilities and make sure that there are no surprises when their taxes are prepared for that year. Life changes like a new child, marriage, new home, new job, or divorce may result in drastic changes in your tax situation. We are available to review your withholdings status and exemptions to determine if you are having too much or too little withheld from your paycheck. We will show you why it may be better to owe than receive a refund. Don't wait until it is too late – call to schedule a tax planning session with us at any time of the year.
