Excellent reasons for converting to a Roth IRA. I can't think of any additional ones. It's also a good idea to think ahead and imagine circumstances in which you will want to be in a Roth IRA if none of these reasons apply now. For instance, what if you don't need funds from your Roth at age 71? With a Traditional IRA, you're forced to take distributions. Also, who knows what tax rates will be in 3 or 4 years, much less throughout your retirement... Why take a chance? Lock in the tax-free withdrawals now, by converting to a Roth IRA!
