Mecklenburg County Privilege/Business Licenses are due June 30

It is time to renew your Mecklenburg County Privilege Business license again. If you operate or are physically present in Mecklenburg county, a license is required. The license must be renewed each year and runs from July 1 to June 30.
The fees are based on the category of business you are in and your sales from the prior year tax return. Use line 1 from your prior year business return (1120, 1120S, 1065 or Schedule C) and multiply by te rate for the classification of your business. The minimum fee is $50 and maximum is $10,000.
